BiteGrease masks unfamiliar and off-putting smells on lures and bait, replacing them with the familiar smell of oily bait species like mackerel, anchovies, mendaden and sardine.
Put a thin coat over your bait or lure, covering it as completely as possible. If you use fluorocarbon leader, avoid getting any on the line itself as it may compromise its invisibility.
The lipid-based formula is very insoluble in water so it resists washing off. But reapplication is suggested after 10-20 casts or about every 30-45 minutes for bait fishing.
BiteGrease is colorless and won't affect the appearance or action of your lure, just the way it smells to a fish.
The BiteGrease formula is entirely nontoxic and safe to use around kids and pets.
BiteGrease is best stored in a cool location and protected from extreme heat, which can thin its consistency.
